| Edgar Cobián Vázquez was born in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1978 and received a Visual Arts Degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara in 2002. His solo exhibitions in Guadalajara have included “Odre” at Charro Negro Gallery, “Primavera” at Museo Raúl Anguiano, “Donde Nadie Me Vea” at Casa Museo López Portillo and “Dream” at Clemente Jacqs Laboratorio. He has also had a solo exhibition, “Trick”,” at Casa del Lago in Mexico City, and has show in group shows both in Mexico and internationally, including at The Balmoral Gallery (Los Angeles), Triangle Project Space (San Antonio, TX), Haus der Kunst Gallery (Guadalajara) and Proyecto Liga (Guadalajara). In 2008, Edgar Cobián Vázquez was included in the Third Beijing International Art Biennale, in Beijing, China. |
