Rosario Lopez Parra received an MFA in Sculpture from Chelsea College of Art and Design in London in 1997, and a Bachelor of Arts from the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá in 1994. Selected solo exhibitions include Insufflare at Galeria Nara Roesler in São Paulo (2008), Atellie du Imagen in Rio de Janeiro (2007), and Galeria Casas Riegner in Bogotá (2007); Untitled/Guest Piece at Museo de Arte, Banco de la Republica, Casa de Moneda in Bogotá (2006); and Abyss at Galeria Casas Riegner in Bogotá (2005). Selected group exhibtions include La Biennale di Venezia in Italy (2007); 40 National Art Exhibition at Archive Distrital in Bogotá (2006); and A Place in the World, Regional Art Exhibition, at Casa Don Juan de Vargas in Tunja, Colombia (2005). Rosario Lopez Parra lives and works in Bogotá.
