Liliana Angulo
Liliana Angulo (b. 1974) received a BFA in Sculpture from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá in 2000. Selected solo exhibitions include Négritude at Alizana Colombo Francesa in Bogotá (2007); Mancha Negra at Valenzuela y Klenner Arte Contemporáneo in Bogotá (2003); and Un negro es un negro at Exposición de fotografia at Instituto Municipal para el arte y la cultura in Durango, Mexico (2000). Selected group exhibitions include Meconio at G.A.S.P. in Boston (2007); Encuentro Internacional Medellín MDE '07 - Prácticas Artísticas Contemporáneas in Medellín, Colombia (2007); and Recicle at Valenzuela y Klenner Arte Contemporáneo in Bogotá (2007). In 2008, she was a Visiting Artist at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, as well as a guest lecturer at the University of Pennslyvania, Kansas State University, and the Emerson College of Arts in Boston. Liliana Angulo lives and works in Bogotá.
