Marcos Ramirez ERRE
Marcos Ramirez ERRE (born Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico 1961) lives and works in Tijuana, Mexico. His multi-disciplinary practice often investigates the complex socio-political and military histories along national borders. Recent exhibitions include TRANSactions: Contemporary Latin American and Latino Art, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego La Jolla, CA; Limbo, Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Mexico City, Strange New World: Art and Design from Tijuana, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, La Jolla, CA (2006); and Eco: Arte Contemporaneo Mexicano, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid (2005). His work has been included in the Whitney Biennial (2000), the VI and VII Havana Biennials, InSite94, InSite97, and The San Juan Poligraphic Triennial (2004).
