Santiago Borja (b. 1970 Mexico City) received a BS in architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, and has attended programs at El Centro Nacional de las Artes and the Academia de San Carlos in Mexico City. His work, departing from painting and all the conceptions that surround this classical activity, takes latter different forms from kites to sealing pieces. Selected solo exhibitions include the Galería de Arte Contemporaneo in Puebla, Mexico, Galería Enrique Guerrero in Mexico City, Museo del Chopo in Mexico City, Casa Luis Barragán in Mexico City and El Museo de la Ciudad de Mexico. Group exhibitions include the Fundación Botín in Spain, the Bienal de Monterrey in Mexico, and the Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City. He works with Galeria Enrique Guerrero in Mexico City. Santiago Borja lives and works in Paris.
